You may order from Altavahealth.com online, by telephone or by regular mail.

When completing the online shopping cart order form, please make sure to check your email address and telephone number, so that we can quickly contact you regarding your order if necessary.

You may also order by telephone. Our toll-free telephone order lines (accessible from within both the U.S. and Canada) are open Monday through Friday 9am - 9pm Central Standard Time. When you call, you must provide us with a valid email address so that we can send you an order confirmation receipt and an order shipping notification. When you receive your order confirmation receipt, please review it carefully to make sure that it agrees with what you ordered. Texas residents, please remember to include 8.25% sales tax. For your convenience, you may also use our online shopping cart order form to create a printable order form to mail to us. To do this, simply make product selections online. When you have finished, click the "Print" link at the bottom of the shopping cart, instead of going to "Proceed To Checkout." Make a copy of the printed order form for yourself before you mail it to us.

Order Confirmation Receipt

When you place an order online, you will see a printable order confirmation receipt on your computer screen when the transaction has been approved and completed. Please review your order immediately to make sure that all information which you provided is correct. You will also receive an email order confirmation within a few minutes after placing your order.

If you did not see the printable order confirmation receipt on your computer screen and / or you did not receive an email order confirmation, then your order was not completely processed. It may have been declined by your bank (or credit card issuer) or not processed for some other reason.

Please check all of your credit card information, especially your credit card number, expiration date, Verification Number and the credit card Billing Address, to make sure that it is correct and that it matches the bank's records. Also check to make sure that your complete name, including a middle name or initials, is entered into the online shopping cart order form exactly as it is printed on your credit card.

When you place your order by telephone, our order processing system will also automatically send you an order confirmation receipt to the email address which you must provide to us. Again, please review your order immediately to make sure that all information, which you provided us, including the products you ordered, is correct.

Payment By Credit Card

We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express. To place an order by credit card, you must be the cardholder. You will need to have your credit card number, expiration date and also the 3-digit or 4-digit Verification Number which is printed on the back or front of the card. For your protection, our credit card processing systems verify all information provided.

When you complete the online order form, the Billing Address must match exactly the address where you receive your monthly credit card statements. That means if you have recently moved and have not notified your bank (or credit card issuer) of your new mailing address, your bank may decline the transaction. You may need to contact them first and then place your order again. If a credit card transaction is denied, we will attempt to notify you, first by using the email address provided in the shopping cart order form and then by the daytime telephone number. If you cannot be contacted, then the order will not be processed. If you choose to have an order shipped to an address other than your Billing Address, such as a place of work, complete the Shipping Address fields with that additional information.

Credit Card Verification Number

On the front or back of your credit card, there is printed another 3-digit or 4-digit number.  This number is called the Verification Number and it is unique to your card. At the end of the order checkout process, we ask you to supply this information after you enter your credit card number and expiration date. The Verification Number is now being required by all credit card issuers to protect cardholders against unauthorized use of their cards. This information is checked against bank records to ensure that no one else is making the transaction with your credit card, since you alone would know this number. The pictures below show where the Verification Number may be found on your credit card.

Payment By Money Order

All orders paid by Money Orders and Bank Cashiers Checks will be processed the same day as received. Unfortunately we do not accept Personal Checks or Business Checks for order payment. For your convenience, you may obtain a Money Order at most US Post Offices. For customers outside of the U.S., you will need to send an International Money Order payable in US Funds. Orders will not be processed and sent until funds are collected.

Sales Tax

Since our offices are located in Texas, state sales tax (8.25%) is applicable for all orders shipped to Texas addresses.  For online and telephone orders, this amount will automatically be calculated and added to your order. When placing orders by regular mail, which will be shipped to Texas addresses, please remember to calculate the sales tax and add it to your order total. (Please note that there is no sales tax on shipping charges in Texas.)

Shipping / Email Shipping Confirmation / Package Tracking

We are committed to excellence in customer satisfaction. We understand that it is important that you receive your order on a timely basis. That's why we strive to process and ship every order carefully and promptly. Most orders are processed and shipped the same day as received. Most Hair Genesis orders are shipped UPS Ground, except for orders to Alaska and Hawaii, which are shipped US Priority Mail, 2nd Day Air. Orders under $100 have a basic order charge of $6.50. Orders to Canada are usually shipped by U.S. Air Mail. Presently we do not ship to destinations other than noted above.

When we ship your order, you will receive an email shipping confirmation, along with your package tracking number. The email will contain a direct link to the web site of the U.S. Postal Service (www.usps.com), or United Parcel Service (www.ups.com), where you can track your order. Please note that it may take 1 or even 2 business days for these sites to update their web site information.

Every order is reviewed to make sure that it is processed properly and promptly. We keep all items we offer in stock. If an occasion arises that will cause a delay in processing your order on a timely basis, we will notify you as soon as possible.

Product Returns

If you wish to return an item, you must first send an email to us at:  

so we can issue a Return Authorization # (RA #). Please include your order number and order date. Any items shipped back to us should be packed in a secure carton, preferably the box it was shipped to you in, with the RA # marked on the outside of the box. Include your order receipt and state the reason for the return. All items to be returned for credit must be unopened and unused in re-saleable condition with the original manufacturer's seals intact. We cannot refund the cost of shipping products to you or returned by you to us. We are not responsible for damaged or lost returns. Items must be returned prepaid within 10 days of issuing the RA #. Once we receive the product back, we can issue an appropriate refund, typically within 15 business days. Any products that are unclaimed or returned, whether opened or not opened, may be subject to a 20% re-stocking fee. Unapproved returns may also be subject to a 10% return fee.
